In the second spot for Foster Fuels, we embarked on a journey to tell the visual story of the company’s national division with their residential consumers in mind. Foster Fuels: Mission Critical specializes in the uptime of major facilities such as hospitals and data centers.

Committed to ensuring each facility is running before, during, and after a natural disaster, Mission Critical came to Abandon Films seeking to translate their script into a heroic yet genuinely humanitarian visual narrative. Aligning with CRY’s values, Foster Fuels’ end goal was to inspire internal teams, residential consumers, and the community.

Throughout this production, we partnered with Foster Fuels’ in-house writer and producer to create a larger than life visual for their company. Per his usual m.o., Director, Justin Rossbacher, was adamant on driving the story forward with as much feeling in each scene as possible.

Opening with a boy awaiting the arrival of his hero, the routine propane truck driver, For Home & Country explores the ventures of the Mission Critical heroes who braved the storm. From pre through post production, we called in the creative cavalry to bring to life the narrative we now know as For Home & Country.
