MUSEUM
Fable Advertising and the Virginia Lottery invited Cry to return for our fourth collaboration. Museum is a licensed partnership with Pink Panther™️. The ‘Museum’ spots showcase the Virginia Lottery Scratcher that pays homage to the original Pink Panther™️ character.
Cry worked with director Kaitlin Scott to find an incredible location that honored and elevated Fable’s creative vision. The result of this collaboration was a spot where the infamous Pink Panther™️ orchestrated an elaborate heist to steal the rare pink diamond presented by the Virginia Lottery, underscored by the iconic and recognizable Pink Panther Theme music by Henry Mancini.

Director Kaitlin Scott collaborated with Cry’s storyboard artist, Kenny Velez to create each shot within the spot (animatic above).
Kaitlin worked with her DP, Minka Farthing-Kohl, and their location scouts to choose the best location possible, an old bank building that was transformed into a museum exhibit. The location served the spot so well that the art team was even able to transform an old office area into the security room you see at the end of the spot.

The final step was to work with composer, Luca Millard-Kisch, to create a custom track that subtly nodded to the jazzy tone of the original Pink Panther Theme music, so the spot can live on beyond its initial air date.
In addition to the primary 30-second, 15-second, and GSTV cuts, Cry’s Post Production team and director Kaitlin Scott produced a :60 extended director’s cut, exclusively available on Cry’s Vimeo and social media.
