Editor Jake Gum Joins CRY as Post Production Supervisor

In recent years, Jake has been a reliable and frequently sought-after assistant editor on projects big and small.

Honing his editing skills in the great state of Texas, Jake gained experience cutting live events, commercials, and feature films such as Home Free, The Nurse, and the upcoming CRY-produced feature film, Lesions.

After an impressive streak on the editorial team and proving to be a reliable teammate in the trenches, Jake has been entrusted to supervise and improve Cry’s post processes, both for commercials and narrative projects.

Keeping his eye on the big picture: Telling great stories, Jake brings efficiency and smoothness to post-production that has helped Cry take on our biggest projects to date.

With attention to detail and strategic planning, Jake aims to minimize the stress and unhealthy working habits that can often pervade the post-process.

By implementing the latest software and tech advancements while maintaining a focus on the tried and true principles of storytelling, Jake has helped to streamline Cry’s post-production both technically and creatively.
