Introducing Monica Arsenault
Cry is growing, and in 2023 we found ourselves spread thin between a heavy workload of commercials and an internally produced, upcoming, feature film. We needed trustworthy and competent support, and we needed it fast.
Enter Monica Arsenault.
Monica has been producing independent films and branded content since 2018. Notably, she associate-produced the feature film Triple Threat, produced the horror feature The Woods, and produced and directed her own web series Nun Habits. She also produced the branded series Ending the War on My Body for Katherine McClintic’s book of the same name, and produced and directed a branded short film Crimson Wave.
Working her way up in the production department in the commercial world of NYC, Monica joined CRY as an Associate Producer with the assignment of tackling commercial projects on a larger scale.
As her knowledge grew, however, she was quickly promoted to the role of Producer and has Line Produced some of CRY’s most recent projects from start to finish.
It is Monica’s life mission to bring communities together through diverse storytelling, and she brings that to her work at CRY.
In 2024, Monica supported creative and collaborative teams, bringing them together to seamlessly execute some of CRY’s biggest projects to date.
With stellar communication and attention to detail, Monica takes charge of every logistical need to make sure that production runs smoothly, and that the visions our clients and directors share are completed with creativity as the driving force.
In addition to producing, Monica is passionate about directing and screenwriting. She resonates with stories that promote the intersection of faith, womanhood, and sexuality. All of her independently produced and directed projects can be found at her website (monicaarsenault.com/current-work).
Monica’s biggest hope is that the work she produces inspires communities to come together and understand one another better.
A note from the author:
As we continue to grow, I’m excited to see that people of this caliber are getting on board with what we’re doing, contributing and making us better, and even more so to know that once an important task is in Monica’s hands, it’s going to be handled on time, with care, and at the highest standard.
Anyone who has worked in film production knows , if they’re lucky, how nice it is to be able to sleep at night knowing that when you arrive to set in the morning, instead of an apocalyptic forest fire, the machine is running smoothly, the coffee has arrived on time, and your clients are happy. Monica is a Production’s dream.
