Executive Assistant/Associate Producer

HIRING Temp Position

PART-TIME (20-40 hrs/week)

SUMMARY OF ROLE

Cry is looking for an organized rockstar communicator passionate about being involved in the commercial and film production world. The Executive Assistant/Associate Producer will work directly with our lead director and co-founder, Justin Rossbacher. This person will need to run some daily operations, communications, and major next steps for current projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executive Administrative Assistance

    • write and edit emails, draft memos, and prepare communications on the executive’s behalf

    • organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary

    • manage the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters

  • Project Management

    • primary client contact throughout all phases of production

    • keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, and status reports

    • manage communications between in-house teams and outside vendors

    • track project deliverables and post-production schedules

  • Some social media content, newsletter, & blog management

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

  • Stable 11 Mbps+ Internet upload speeds

  • 3 years of professional administrative experience

  • 3 years of professional experience in production

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team remotely (Does not rely on being directed to do everything. Proactively figure out the next steps. Initiates needed communication to others on the team)

 

GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

  • Role could expand to a full-time salaried position

COMPENSATION

  • $25-35/hour for approximately 20-40 hours a week (depending on skills/expertise)

  • opportunity for commission on new business sales
